When shaving with a hot towel, it’s important to prepare your skin, so apply a softening face cream before you towel off. Then prepare the hot towel and cover your face with it. Don’t be afraid, it’s a pleasant heat, not excessive heat! The towel is left on your face for a few minutes while the hot air does its work, softening your skin and hairs. When the time is up, which is about 4-5 minutes, the towel is removed from your face. The water from the mist is wiped off your face and then wiped clean. Then apply the shaving cream and start shaving. We work with a sterile blade to create the shape you want, or if you want a clean shave, we’ll get rid of any facial hair. When you’re done cutting, wipe off the cream and wipe your face clean. Then apply a soothing after shave to calm your complexion.
